Caerphilly Town Council meets at the Twyn Community Centre

As voters took to the polling stations last week, many were faced with two ballots – one for the Caerphilly County Borough Council elections and the other to elect councillors to sit on their local town or community council.

Not every area in Caerphilly County Borough has a community or town council. Meanwhile, not every town or community council even had a vote – many of the seats had already been won by candidates who stood unopposed.

But who was elected to the town and community councils across the borough?
